INFORMATION

Sesam is a non-political and non-religious organisation. Sesam is keen on keeping in accordance with basic human rights such as the right to choose religious belief and the right to exercise that belief. Sesam is also keen on the right of the individual's freedom of thought, integrity and respect. The UN paragraph number 30 about human rights stipulates that no paragraph might be put to the side in favour of another paragraph. Freedom of religion might therefore not be used as an argument for the oppression of another human right, which often happens within manipulative cults. Totalitarian and undemocratic groups challenge a democratic society.

Sesam is an organisation for you who have been manipulated by a cult. These cults use mind control to subjugate individuals. It's a very efficient method that, within a short time-span, can destroy an individual´s critical mind, and turn the individual into a robot-like person. This method has also been widely and successfully used in several undemocratic societies. But, even in democratic societies, this method is used within closed groups to exercise total control upon its members.

Manipulative groups, generally labelled cults, exist all over the world. They often work on an international level and spread from country to country. They create affiliates in different countries, often change their names so that the citizens will not know the mother-organisation. They escape taxes by moving to another country when they’ve been taxed in one, or when they’ve got themselves caught into disagreeable lawsuits. It is of major importance for us to keep ourselves informed about the cults´ whereabouts, in order to be able to quickly inform our respective governments and our citizens if such a movement would like to infiltrate into our country. Sesam has therefore joined a European organisation, F.E.C.R.I.S., European Federation of Centres for Research and Information on Sectarism.

Cults world-wide use mind control, which implies physical control, psychological control, affectionate control, and informational control on the individual. This leads to social isolation, family disintegration, and economical ruin, physical and, especially, psychological damages that can be measured with those of victims of wars.

The members of Sesam have all been victimised by cults. Therefore we wish to spread information about the dangers of cults in order for people to learn to consequently keep a critical eye opened. Knowledge diminishes the manipulative cults’ memberships.

We can offer you support through a network of individuals and through advice during regular rehabilitation-meetings. In order to recover ones identity, which has been suppressed by the cult-group, it is essential to understand what mental manipulation means. Otherwise, one can easily, while still confused, become the prey of yet another cult, or get involved in a destructive relationship or become psychotic.

Sesam works together with FRI, Föreningen Rädda Individen, (the organisation which helps save the individual), which has a great library that our members may use. We can also give you names of lawyers, other crisis-groups, psychologists, and priests.
